Power Rangers emPOWER
About Power Rangers: Samurai
A new generation of heroes is about to explode out of the darkness to battle bad guys everywhere!
The new Rangers, Jayden, Kevin, Mia, Emily and Mike, harness the mystical Samurai Symbols of Power to fight evil with the elements of Fire, Water, Sky, Forest and Earth.
They are not alone in their struggle. An all-knowing mentor and special spirit animals called Zords aid in their attack against the relentless dark forces.
Independentmami's thoughts-I grew up being a Power Ranger. I was the pink one. My cell phone ring tone is the power rangers theme song. When it goes off, you should see people's reactions. It amazes me how many people know the Power Rangers, because we all grew up watching them. I like when shows are value driven, and this show is one of them. For many seasons they have brought you and I, to sit in front of that screen waiting for the next episode, reruns, or their movies. Not only do their episodes have value but they are a great organization doing great work in schools and communities. Check this out....
The Power Rangers emPOWER Movement provides parents and kids the tools they need to work together to grow healthy kids and support healthy communities. emPOWER inpires participation in schools, online, and in local communities to demonstrate the Power Rangers values in action:
-Standing for What's Right: Power Rangers are a powerful force committed to good deeds and defeating evil.
-Teamwork and Cooperation: Power Rangers always work as a team. By working together and looking out for one another, they overcome challenges, suceed in their missions, and solve important problems.
-Confidence: Every Power Ranger succeeds because they believe in themselves and their friends! Confidence gives them the personal strength to face every new difficulty.
-Health and Physical Fitness: The physical action in the Power Rangers inspires kids to get up and move around. Imitating Power Ranger poses and moves promotes early pattern s of exercises.
-Caring and Friendship: They may be a team of fighting superheroes out to promote fairness and sace the world, but the Power Rangers also are a close-knit group of teenage pals. Even though they're all different, they accept each other's individuality, and are always around to help a Power Ranger in need.

Last month and this February, gym class kits were delivered to 4500 US schools. The kits include fitness guides, bulleting board messaging, group activities focused on Power Rangers values and physical fitness, designed for K-3rd grade students. Each participating school is entered for a chance to win a visit from the Samurai Power Rangers, and a $10,000 donation to their physical education program. Go to emPOWER facebook page to see what schools are participating or if your school is particing tells us about it on their wall.
You can also nominate your little Power Ranger to be The Ranger of the Week.
***Disclosure-I am a One2One member. My review of this episode will be my entry to win a gc. No monetary compensation was received. This program has been Independentmami viewed and Independentmami approved.
