A friendship begins between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the horse moves through the First World War, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets -- British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter.
My thoughts-This was a very good movie. It is an epic war film that will not bore you. It is rated PG 13. We watched it with my 13 year old. He liked it. Grab your tissues, I even cried. I did not know what was going to happen as we watched the journey Joey and Albert took on their separate ways. I recommend for ages 13 and up.
