Do you know who this is? Think Olympics...
Shannon Miller!
She is an Olympic Gold Metalist, who has become a Health & Fitness Advocate after becoming a cancer survivor. She is also a wife and a mommy too!!
Shannon gave us a some tips, and answered questions. Here is some questions and answers:
What and How do you coach other women?
-Hold events to create awareness.
Any secrets?
-She likes keep a schedule.
-She schedule times for her self.
-Manage your time wisely.
-Write out your priorities.
Only really cool idea, was putting your goals in writing. Her husband and her went on a retreat and they did just this. Wrote out what they wanted to focus on covered all the windows. I am going to try this little exercise with my husband!!
Any mistakes or regrets?
-Not understanding where she was headed.
-Being able to say NO!
I suffer from the NO thing. So many people, including dear close friends, have taken advantage of me with this. I am learning to say NO everyday.
We also heard from Dayna Steele. Who had alot to share too.
-Take the Rock Star Oath. Believe that you are, and you will become!
-Passion. Do what you love.
-Network. Hello bloggers, its not smooching a person, its called networking.
-Knowledge. You Know that saying Knowledge is Power. Well it is!
-Appreciate. Say THANK YOU! Recognize those around you.
I learned so much and there was way more, I could just go and on. A few more pointers from others were:
-Some people wanna ride your coat tail, give them an action task and put them to the test. Maria Bailey
-Pay yourself first.
-Your reputation is your personal brand.
Thank you so much to Disney, Maria Bailey and all of her staff, and all of the contributors. This was amazing, and they are headed to another city to empower more people. Bloggers stand up!!

Sounds like a great event! I use to follow Shannon Miller's career when I was in high school and doing gymnastics. I heard recently she lives in Jacksonville where I live. Haven't met her yet but how neat that you did!
I can't wait to attend the one here in New York! I look forward to being inspired!
Hate that this event flew under my radar. I followed it very closely via Twitter, but green with envy that I couldn't be there in person.

"Take the Rock Star Oath" is a very good tip!
We all need to do that more.
Wow, sounds like you all had an amazing time! It's great that mothers who are also bloggers get a space like this to learn and get to know each other!
