Ice at the Galleria Offers Spooktacular Halloween Festivities

Have any plans for the kiddos for Halloween?  How about a free event?

Visitors are sure to enjoy all this special event has to offer including Halloween activities, skating and more. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win our costume contest! The Houston Aeros Promotional Squad and Mascot will be on-site providing giveaways as well as interactive fun with Fish Gallery. Bring your friends with you to the Ice at the Galleria’s Halloween party for trick or treating, free giveaways, raffles and more. With chills and thrills around every turn, the ice rink will be filled with Halloween fun for all ages. In between laps, be sure to grab some food and snacks provided by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Nestle Toll House.  “It’s that time of the year for costumes, trick or treating and family-friendly fun,” said Elizabeth Griffith, General Manager of the Ice at the Galleria. “What better way to celebrate this spooky holiday than bringing traditional Halloween activities to the iconic ice rink. The Ice at the Galleria is thrilled to host this year’s event, which is free and open to the public.” You will also have the opportunity to skate with Chillsworth, the iconic ice rink’s beloved penguin mascot. Chillsworth will be available for visits and photo-ops both on and off the ice, and will help beginners make their way around the rink. For those who have never been ice skating or need a refresher, instructors will be giving introductory lessons during the event. Take this opportunity to learn to skate at the Ice at the Galleria, which fosters the development of skaters of all skill levels in a warm and positive environment.
