It has been 30 days since I started my journey on Jenny Craig. And what a month it has been. I learned alot from using the program, my personal consultations, and all the information available to me through Jenny Craig. The month of November and the month of December can be the worse times of the year for anyone to try to lose weigh or even maintain it. There is alot of self discipline involved.
Some of my challenges this month were:
-Thanksgiving
-Football (Thursdays, Sundays, Mondays)
-Lil Bit's 1st Bday
How I over came them:
-At Thanksgiving, I grab one of my daughter's baby spoons and tasted each dish. Some things I am allergic to, so I could not eat them anyways.
-While watching football, I would try to keep busy. I coordinated my Jenny Craig meal plan with my family, so that I could have something that was like their food. No need to cheat when you are eating the same thing. Jenny Craig has awesome chicken fajitas!!
-For my daughter's birthday, I have a variety of healthy food. I had garden salads, veggies, chicken salad, and chicken salad sandwiches. We normally offer a buffet of fatting foods but this time I did not want all that temptation.
But I know you are wondering, did it work:
The Jenny Craig program works if you follow it, do not cheat, and are committed to make change in your entire life. They give you the tools, are there by your side, and guide you.
I lost a total of 6 lbs. I lost 2 inches in my chest and 2 inches in my waist....WOOHOO. I would say that Jenny Craig worked for me!
What I liked about the program:
-I was eating food I liked. (pasta, desserts, real breakfast-french toast, pancakes, etc...)
-I was not calorie counting.
-My meals were ready to go.
All in all, I was successful!
***Disclosure-I received a 30 day membership including food to Jenny Craig. These are my real results.
