We have really had a bad week, my husband and I. Many challenges. The sitter was scheduled. I had told the hubs to get her ready and dropped off. I was going to drop off teen at church lock in and then head straight home after work. Little did we know that a storm would be brewing and I looked like a storm chaser, except the storm was chasing me. I was hoping the storm would turn but it didn't and came straight at us. As I was at home getting ready, our power went off. Try fixing your hair and make up in the dark. Luckily the power came back on and stayed on long enough for me to get all dolled up for my date, which at this point wasn't sure it was going to happen. My husband even suggest we just stay in, order delivery, and watch movies at home. I told him that was not happening. The storm kept pounding outside and I keep trying to get ready while the power kept dimming on and off. I manage to look some what decent?
Check out my husband's face. HE is still in shock that we are actually going out on a date with no kids!
We didn't go out saving the world, or dodging bullets on our #VeranoEspectacular adventure like Cristian de la Fuente and his partner:
But we did fight a storm, power outages, Friday traffic, street flooding, etc.... we left our super parent capes at home in return for a wonderful evening thanks for Ford.
