I Adore Mis Amores #AmorConBritax

February is the month of love they say.  February is special to me not because of Valentine's Day but because of the love's I have.

15 years ago, It was love at first.  We locked eyes.  I have loved him ever since.  Right from the start he had my heart.  So it is only fitting he was born this month, 15 years ago.  He was born early because he was ready to see the world.  My Quinceanero, my baby boy, my 1st love, my son MJ...
The birthday celebrations started right from the start.  Everyday I surprised him with something different.  Nothing big, just wanted his 15th to be special.  From buying him his favorite snacks to breakfast before school, everyday for the next 15 days would be special.

One of the special birthday things my son got to do this year was open his very own 1st bank account.  We were all there to witness this.
We also had a rode trip to Fort Worth and we visited the Stock Yards.  Road trips are always fun for my loves.  In the picture above is another one of my loves, my daughter Lil Bit.  She gives me hugs and centers me.  A love like no other.  I never knew how much she would mean to me, or how much I would be missing out on without her.  I would not trade her for the world.  But every now and again she has her moments, like our recent road trip.  We are in the middle of potty training, and yes, she had to go a million times before we even left the city limits.  If we were going to make it anytime in this century, bribery was going to be our only friend.  Welcome to the CHOCOLATE WASTED phase of our trip, movies, food, and a comfy seat-Oh yeah baby-Fort Worth or Bust!

Since I have introduced you to my two littles, let me introduce you to the one who makes my heart stop.  He is the love that has restored me.  He makes me stronger.  You know they say marriage is 50/50, well he will tell you how about 99/01.  He is a clown that makes you enjoy life to the fullest.  He is the beat of my heart.
Even though he is a stepfather to my son you would think they were blood.  If you meet my son, you will know he is a quite a charmer, like my husband.  He is so friendly and nice, like me.  He is always a friend and never a boyfriend, and to me that is a GREAT thing but to my teen not so much.  As we continued celebrating his life this month, the day before Valentine's Day him and I did some shopping.  In the middle of us running errands, he asked, "Mami, Will you be my Valentine?"  A tear rolled down my eye.  I had to keep cool, cause I am that "COOL MAMI".  I responded,"I am always and always will be your Valentine!"  That was so special to me.  My teen asking me to be his Valentine.  So I wanted to surprise him.  The next day, I ordered a heart shaped pizza and a cookie dessert and surprised him for lunch.  I was waiting for him at the front desk which is located next to the cafeteria.  As I saw him coming, I opened the pizza box and said,"Will you be my Valentine?"   He said, "Yes!"  I love him!  He was not embarrassed at all.

Every moment is a special moment.  My loves are what keep me going every day.  Life is not about the things I do not have, but the people that I have to share it with.  Everyday with mis amores (my loves) is Valentine's Day to me!
