Ermahn Ospina shares a detailed "How-To" on achieving
Sandra's
playful, romantic look in People en Español's "Los 50 Más
Bellos."
MOISTURIZER
Visibly Even® Daily Moisturizer Broad
Spectrum SPF 30
For beautifully moisturized skin, start
off with a clean canvas and apply a moisturizer like this one to brighten skin,
even out tone and protect with an SPF of 30 for a more radiant complexion.
PRIMER
Healthy Skin Primer
Get the primer on your
fingertips. Start by applying the primer in four spots - forehead, the center
of both cheeks and your chin.
Then in a circular motion,
distribute throughout the face like you would with a moisturizer. Wait a couple
of minutes before you apply the foundation.
FOUNDATION
Nourishing Long Wear Liquid Makeup
Broad Spectrum SPF 20
For Sandra I used the Nude shade. It
has the right amount of coverage to keep you looking soft and natural. An extra
tip - apply foundation on your neck, and extended towards your jaw line,
blending it with your chin and below your check bones.
CONCEALER
Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector
Broad Spectrum SPF25
It's really the eye Perfector ! I used
the Light shade on Sandra. Apply small dots under the inside corner of the eye
and to extend the brightening effect of the concealer, apply around the nose
(where the skin tends to be a bit more red or uneven in tone). As the day goes
on, your foundation and concealer are activated by your warmth - this is
helpful to know because you can help set the concealer by blending with
the foundation and gently tapping on the skin with your fingertips.
EYE SHADOW
Crease Proof Eye Shadow
I used the Constant Copper shade on
Sandra. This color reminds me of a beautiful clear desert day! Start by
applying the eye shadow from the top of your lash line to the center of your
eye lid. Then with your fingertips, blend on your eye crease gently extending
it to the outside corner for a soft and natural look.
EYELINER
Nourishing Eye Liner
I used the Spiced Chocolate shade on
Sandra. I wanted to enhance Sandra's playful romantic look by framing her eyes
with this great eyeliner. One of the best ways to achieve this look is by
starting on the center of the top of your lash line and extending it outwards,
making it slightly thicker as you slide the liner outwards and then come back
to the center of the lash line. Follow your own natural line, towards the inner
corner of the eye, staying as close as possible to the lash line. To connect
the line to the bottom lash line, start from the outside bottom corner and stay
as close to the lash line as possible.
MASCARA
Healthy Volume® Mascara
I used Carbon Black on Sandra. You may
apply two coats of mascara, even for a natural look. One of the best ways for
you to have control of the lashes and keep them separate and silky-looking is
to start at the root of the outside corner. Bring the mascara wand brush as
close to the root of the lash as possible and slowly work your way to the
middle and then the inner corner.
BLUSH
Healthy Skin Custom Glow™ Blush &
Bronzer
I utilized this blush to enrich
Sandra's playful, romantic look. Start by applying the bronzer on the apples of
your cheeks and slightly bring it outwards and upwards directing it towards the
temples. Then, with a different brush, apply the blush just on the apples of
your cheeks. Lastly, to blend it all in for a more natural look, use a clean
brush and with circle motions and gently trace the blush outwards.
LIPS
MoistureSmooth Color Stick
MoistureShine® Gloss
I used the MoistureSmooth Color Stick
in Fresh Papaya and the MoistureShine® Gloss in Healthy Blush on Sandra. To
guarantee that your lips feel and look soft, you should moisturize with a
lip balm before lipstick application; it helps the lipstick feel soft and look
fresh longer.
After a shoot, Sandra uses Neutrogena's
Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to remove all traces of makeup!
