My favorite or most memorable abulita moment happened when I was a child. We were visiting my abuelita in Mexico. I said I feel like Caldo de Pollo. I was thinking we would go get the chicken from the butcher shop, but no. My Abuelita Juanita chased after one of her chickens killed it. It kind of ruin everything for me. But looking back, I think how sweet of her to do this for me.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory of my abuelita was getting to take my two oldest kids to spend an entire summer with her in her home. She passed away last year and I am so glad that my children had the opportunity to get to know her and love her too.
